The DTP-3 is an automatic digital voltage monitor and control system. By continuously measuring the incoming line voltage, the DTP-3 monitor will detect voltages outside of the tolerance that you set. If these limits are exceeded, the response timer is started. This timer may be set to a long time value to avoid nuisance tripping, or to a short time value to offer a higher level of load protection. If the voltage remains outside of the selected tolerance after the time has elapsed, the DTP-3 will turn off its output relay and protect your device. While the load is off, an additional lockout timer is activated to avoid rapid restarts.

large Digital lCD Display

Provides instant display of the system’s operating voltage, not just indicator lights. System setup is simplifed by using the display to set the exact voltage range you want to monitor. Other controls use dials for system adjustment that can lead to inaccurate settings and motor burnout.

Super Simple operation

Just three buttons set up everything. Easy adjustment of voltage tolerance and timers.

Small Size

Small footprint and low profle fts where other can’t.

10 amp rated output relay with isolated Contacts

Powerful relay can connect to just about any control circuit. Normally-Open and Normally-Closed contacts are provided for connection to any type of system, motor control or alarm.

2 leD indicators

Glowing light-emitting-diodes show applied control voltage and output relay operation at a glance.

Precision Digital Circuitry

Completely eliminates the ambiguity associated with analog controls and screwdriver adjustments.

Adjustable Response Time

This timer sets the amount of time between when a voltage outside of the selected tolerance is detected and when the output relay is de-energized. Setting low time values offers faster protection. Setting longer times provides greater resistance to nuisance tripping.

Adjustable Delay Time

This timer sets the amount of time before the protected system is allowed to restart. Typically this timer is set to a value which allows the protected system to bleed-off high pressures or to cool down to a safe value for restarting.

Broad Voltage Adjustment Range

User adjustable monitored voltage range from 160 to 650 VAC. This broad adjustment range incorporates voltages for the majority of compressor installation requirements. Therefore, this single unit can be used across a broad range of installations.

Protection

Loss of Phase, Phase Reversal, Voltage Imbalance, Low Voltage, High Voltage.

Display

Large custom LCD indicates all operating conditions at a glance. Three large sets of digits provide easy system troubleshooting.

Voltmeter

Simultaneous display of all three line voltage pairs. One button switches to contactor load side voltage reading.

input Voltage range

90 – 650 VAC at 50 or 60 hertz.

Voltage Trip Point

Adjustable in 1 percent increments between 6% and 18% of the selected operating voltage. Restart voltage set point fxed at +3%.

Voltage Symmetry

Adjustable imbalance set point from 2% to 25% of selected operating voltage.

Lockout Delay Timer

Fully adjustable 0 to 720 seconds (0 to 12 minutes). Digital display shows remaining time and user set points.

Sequential Start Timer

0 – 30 seconds in 1 second increments.

response timer

0.1 to 20 seconds digital display shows remaining time and user set points.

memory

Up to 25 previous fault conditions are recorded for display as desired.
